Everything I Needed to Know About Technology Integration I Learned From Watching...

I've gotten some funny feedback regarding my Star Wars Tech post and thought it would be funny to keep it up once a month. I'm a huge movie guy and have seen some of the best movies ever made. How Monster Squad did not win an Oscar is beyond me. Anyway, I placed a poll on the right so people can pick their favorite movie option. There are some good options there, so be careful with your choice. I look forward to writing about tech integration in a way that makes it a little more accessible to teachers everywhere. Pass it along.

  1. Great idea, that will be a lot of fun. I'm all about Clueless and Back to the Future, all though Ghostbusters is a good one too. Decisions, decisions!

  2. I voted for Clueless, because of the obvious connotations for those who piously enjoy being anti-tech; however, one that should have been on your poll-- Monty Python/Holy Grail. That would have been a no-brainer for me. :-)

  3. Michelle,

OMG! How could I have left that one off the list?! That is a no-brainer! I might just do that anyway! Thanks for the vote.

  4. I looked to vote from iPhone but could not see it. Higly recommend "Bill and Ted," "Matrix," "War Games," and of course "Ferris Bueller"

  5. You've got to say that Back to the Future was pretty accurate (in a way) and lots of fun. I also look forward to Ferris Bueller, one of my all time favourites. Ferris has, of course, a lot to say about schools and education (none of it good).

  6. You should hold off and do Karate Kid when the remake comes out!

  7. Loved the Star Wars post, so I'm looking forward to seeing the next one. Hope Ghostbusters gets it.

  9. Definitely a toss up between Ghostbusters and Back To The Future. But BTTF is my all time favorite I had to vote for it!

  10. Ok, I chose Goonies because it is just the all time best movie ever that I watched as a kid growing up in the 80s. I remember data trying, and trying, and trying again with his inventions. He never gave up and he had a supportive cheer squad. (Parents and fellow Goonies). Having that support system is such an important piece in the integration of technology, and thus I guess another reason why I chose The Goonies.

  11. The voting is getting intense. It looks like I might be watching a trilogy this weekend. Thanks to everyone who has dropped me a note this week. It's nice to know people are reading and that they love the same "nerdy" movies I do. I hope my post lives up to the expectations of the masses. Thanks again.
